How an organization is virtually connecting single parents to the resources and support they need to thrive

Austin, TX, September 02, 2022 — ( — While many demographics began to rebound in the fall of 2020, single moms (parents) have struggled since according to statistics. The Single Moms Society is committed to bridging the gap between single parents and the resources they need to thrive.

Single Mothers Society, the largest online community for single parents and social service providers, is proud to announce its 2nd annual Singlemomathon Summit sponsored by Athleta and Kalahari Spa & Resort. This year’s guest speaker is In Focus Texas anchor, reporter and host for Spectrum News 1, Dr. Nicole Cross. She is an honorably Associated Press Award winner, Emmy-nominated anchor, and the recipient of several education degrees, including a doctorate in counselor education, a master’s degree in behavioral science, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In addition, Dr. Cross has notably worked as a doctoral level psychotherapist for more than 15 years.

The Single Moms Society is proud to work alongside a phenomenal network of supporters and valued community partners to host its 2nd Annual Virtual Single-mom-athon Summit which will provide single parents with the opportunity to connect with unlimited resources, exciting giveaways, expert speakers, dynamic discussion panels and more.

Singlemomathon’s expert panel of speakers will provide an exciting virtual day of inspiration, networking and community support at its finest. Singlemomathon The event will be streamed live on September 24, from 9:30 a.m./CST to 6:30 p.m. on their YouTube channel @The Single Parent Review as multiple media outlets. This year’s event is expected to reach over 3,000 viewers and will provide the ultimate virtual and highly interactive experience for attendees.
