Krispy Kreme, Inc. Announces Organizational Changes to Strengthen Growth and Global Expansion Strategy, Promotes Josh Charlesworth to Global President and Chief Operating Officer

CHARLOTTE, NC, June 8, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Krispy Kreme, Inc. (NASDAQ: DNUT) (“Krispy Kreme” or the “Company”), today announced that Josh Charlesworth has been promoted to President and Chief global operation. The company has engaged a leading recruitment firm to identify Krispy Kreme’s next chief financial officer and Mr Charlesworth will remain in the role until a successor is hired. Mr. Charlesworth will continue to report to Mike Tattersfield, President and Chief Executive Officer.

As Global Chairman, Charlesworth will be responsible for all of Krispy Kreme’s major stock markets, including the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico, as well as well as its IT and supply chain teams. This newly created role will oversee the expansion of the company’s global footprint and growth strategy. Mr. Charlesworth has been Chief Financial Officer of Krispy Kreme since April 2017 and Chief Operating Officer since May 2019. He served as Corporate Secretary from July 2018 to August 2020.

Additionally, Andrew Skehan, president for North America, has informed the company of his intention to leave Krispy Kreme in August to accept a general manager position with another organization. Andrew’s current responsibilities will be carried out by several members of the Company’s management team who have extensive experience and knowledge of business operations.
