Lacson obtains the approval of the organization PSSLAI

With his passion for public service, intolerance of corruption, noble leadership and program of good governance, presidential candidate Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson won the support of the leadership of the Public Safety Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (PSSLAI).

In a memorandum dated today (May 6), Atty. Lucas Managuelod, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of PSSLAI, encouraged all employees of their organization to “vote wisely” in the upcoming elections on May 9, 2022 and choose Lacson for president.

“I urge everyone to choose wisely. We must vote for leaders based on their skills and qualifications, not their popularity. We must elect those who embody the characteristics and virtue of a true and honest leader who respects life, protects freedom and has the best interests of his people at heart,” he said.

Managuelod went on to explain why Lacson should get their votes, pointing to his “proven track record of good leadership for many years” throughout his long career in public service. He also mentioned that the 18-year-old senator demonstrated “high moral principles and ideals.”

“We must vote for a leader who advocates good governance – a leader dedicated to creating a system of government based on justice and peace that protects the rights of the people,” according to the PSSLAI leader.

Managuelod is convinced that of all the candidates vying for the 2022 presidential elections, only Lacson has the “strong will to purge the bureaucracy of corrupt officials and restore integrity in government.”

“Remember that our vote has a significant impact on our future, especially the future of our children. It’s time to give our country and our children the leadership they deserve. So in this 2022 election, I will be voting for Senator Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson for President,” Managuelod said.

“I firmly believe that he (Lacson) is the kind of leader we all need to make our nation great again. Once again, let’s vote wisely and responsibly in the next election. Let our [voices] be heard and let our [votes] important”, concluded the President and CEO of the PSSLAI in his note.

Managuelod is a retired police officer and was the former director of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG). PSSLAI has 24 employees and more than 200,000 members who work in the public safety sector, according to its website.

PSSLAI is a non-equity savings and loan organization supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission that serves the financial needs of uniformed personnel of the PNP and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
