KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to conduct its organizing campaign targeting the upcoming federal and provincial elections.

The government is preparing to hold the two elections next November. The CPN (Maoist Centre) has started its internal preparation for the same at a time when the Electoral Commission and the government have already started the necessary preparations for the elections.

A meeting of the party’s Standing Committee held at the party headquarters, Paris Danda, today decided to hold a meeting of the provincial coordination committee of all provinces and orientation program from August 1 to 19.

Likewise, the meeting also decided to hold a Karnali province meeting and orientation on August 14th.

After the meeting, CPN (Maoist Center) Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that a decision had been taken to form a province coordination committee under the leadership of the province leader comprising the committee members central and provincial officials to ensure coordination between the center and the provinces. until the next election.

Preparations have been made to finalize the standing committee, political bureau and officers of the CPN (Maoist Centre) within 15 days.

Committee to Investigate Treason

The Standing Committee meeting formed a committee to investigate the betrayal of a coalition partner in the local elections held recently. The three-member team coordinated by Tanka Rai includes Khimlal Devkota and Mukti Pradhan, spokesman Mahara said.

The Committee will investigate the activities that took place during the election at the 753 local levels and action will be taken based on the report prepared by the Committee.

Committee to Solve the Problems of ANNISU (Revolutionary)

Similarly, another committee has been formed to address the issues prevalent in the revolutionary National Union of Independent Students of Nepal (ANNISU), the student wing of the CPN (Maoist Centre).

The committee coordinated by former ANNISU (revolutionary) chairman Ramesh Malla included Narendra Neupane and Ratna Dhakal, Mahara informed.
