UMass Global Announces Expanded Admissions for Ed.D. in the Organizational Leadership Program

UMass Global is now accepting applications from prospective students who wish to begin the Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership program in January 2023.

“The new cohort of students will join a doctoral program with a demonstrated history of creating transformational leaders,” said the School of Education’s Associate Dean, Patrick Ainsworth.

The University of Massachusetts Global is offering a new admissions option for students who want to earn a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership online. Now, for the first time, students can begin studies leading to an Ed.D. graduate in January instead of waiting for a new academic year to start in August or September.

“The new cohort of students will join a doctoral program with a demonstrated history of creating transformational leaders,” said the School of Education’s Associate Dean, Patrick Ainsworth. “Students come from a variety of professions, including education, emergency services, health care, business and industry, non-profit organizations, and the military.”

UMass Global, formerly Brandman University, is now accepting applications from students who wish to begin the program in January 2023. Students joining the Ed.D. program will participate in online courses. Immersions will take place virtually and face-to-face, with in-person attendance only required for one annual gathering. Students will complete a transformational change project that matches their career aspirations. This work can be applied for the improvement of the chosen organization before writing their dissertation.

The application deadline is December 16. Additional information is available online at the Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership website.
