SECAUCUS, NJ, October 13, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Quest Diagnosis (NYSE: DGX), the world’s leading provider of diagnostic information services, today announced Jim DavisCEO-elect, made several organizational changes and appointed seasoned leaders to better support the company’s two-point business strategy to accelerate growth and drive operational excellence:

  • Karthik KuppusamyPh.D., is appointed Senior Vice President, Clinical Solutions.

  • Marc Gardner was named senior vice president, molecular genomics and oncology, a new position.

  • Christine Wallace is now Senior Vice President, Compliance, succeeding Tim Sharpwho retired in August.

Mr. Kuppusamy is responsible for bringing innovative diagnostic solutions to market through Quests clinical franchises as well as pharmaceutical services, genomics services and global markets, in partnership with the company’s highly skilled medical and research and development teams. Previously, he led the North region as general manager, based in the laboratory of Marlborough, MA. Prior to that, he ran the Neurology franchise.

He earned a BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the indian institute of technologyboth in India. He also holds an MBA in finance and operations from Marquette University and a doctorate. in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from University of Washington in Saint Louis.

In his newly created role, Mr. Gardner is responsible for driving the growth of Quests Offers advanced diagnostics by providing genetic sequencing services, cancer diagnostics and working closely with the company’s clinical franchises. He joins Quest of Corza Medical, a private equity operating firm focused on surgical technologies and tools, where he served as Executive Partner, Senior Vice President and General Manager of European Business Operations and Biosurgical Products. He has built a career in molecular genomics, next generation sequencing and oncology diagnostics, having worked at various companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific, Life Technologies, Invitrogen and Omniseq. He began his career in the private sector as a McKinsey consultant after serving in the United States Marine, where he reached the rank of lieutenant commander. He obtained a Bachelor of Science from the US Naval Academya master’s degree in national security studies from Georgetown Universityand an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

As a compliance leader, Christine Wallace is responsible for maintaining and developing Quests industry leader in ethics, integrity, compliance and confidentiality. Ms. Wallace joined Quest in 2009 in the legal department as Senior Corporate Counsel. Over the years, she has provided legal support for operations, franchises, pricing, regulation, privacy, compliance, billing and Quest for health equity. Most recently, as Chief Regulatory Advisor, she worked closely to oversee the FDA’s review of new tests to support Quests COVID-19 response. She earned a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvaniaand a JD degree from Villanova School of Law.
